Mississippi River Basin Watershed Coordinator
Pioneering Pathways to Nature-Based Solutions
Quantified Ventures’ Mississippi River Watershed Coordinator partners with watershed and conservation organizations in the 10 states along the Mississippi River to identify and access financing/funding for nature-based solutions (NBS).
Many watershed and conservation organizations do not have the bandwidth or expert knowledge required to navigate funding and financing pathways for their projects. Our team serves as a bridge to enable communities to access funding and financing solutions.
Our Mississippi River Basin Watershed Coordinator provides capacity and expertise to the organizations and the communities they serve to successfully evaluate and navigate current financial opportunities, move through the application process, and ensure projects are meeting goals and connecting with the right people and partners.
Our Watershed Coordinators bolster and propel forward projects that directly address water issues in vulnerable communities.
Additionally, we focus on helping communities access financing through State Revolving Funds (SRFs), which are among the largest investor mechanisms in the world for NBS.
The time is now to make a dedicated effort to increase investment in our communities and nature-based solutions projects in the Mississippi River Basin. Together we will achieve the multiple health, community, economic, and environmental benefits our communities need and deserve.
