Pioneering Pathways to Nature-Based Solutions

Many watershed and conservation organizations do not have the bandwidth or expert knowledge required to navigate funding and financing pathways for nature-based solutions (NBS).

Our team serves as a bridge to enable communities to access funding and financing solutions. We’re helping underserved communities access financing through State Revolving Funds (SRFs), which are among the largest investor mechanisms in the world for NBS.

Watershed Coordinators bolster and propel forward projects that directly address critical water issues in underserved communities and ensure more funds, including SRF dollars, make their way to NBS projects.

Critical Mass: The Colorado River Basin

The Colorado River Basin is experiencing serious water supply and water quality issues. As the magnitude of our water problem’ intensifies, so too does the pressure on the ecological, economic, and social strength of the Colorado River Basin.

No one organization can solve the Basin’s immense challenges. Leveraging the right resources, at the right time, with the right partners, QV helps to generate audacious impact.

Our Colorado River Basin Watershed Coordinator provides localized, regional, and Basin-scale expertise for municipalities, utilities, nonprofit, conservation, and watershed groups who are actively developing, designing, and deploying nature-based solutions.

The time is now to make a dedicated effort to increase the investment in our communities and NBS projects in the Colorado River Basin. Together we will achieve the multiple health, economic, and environmental benefits our communities need.
