Mike Crowley

Director, Green Banks & Resilience Finance 

Mike has more than 20 years of experience leading climate and resilience solutions for governments, non-profits, academic institutions, energy utilities, and the private sector. Mike has held leadership positions at the Harvard Office for Sustainability, Environmental Health & Engineering, the Institute for Sustainable Communities, the Yestermorrow Design Build School, and VEIC. Most recently, he was the Commercial & Industrial Portfolio Manager for Efficiency Vermont where he led market transformation programs on behalf of utility rate payers.  

His work includes creating equitable financing models through revolving loan funds and energy efficiency utilities, and leading capacity-building programs for climate policy implementers. He’s passionate about implementing principles of systems thinking, ecological design, and equitable program design. 

Mike and his family live in the foothills of the Worcester Mountain Range in Vermont. In his free time, he rides his gravel bike, snowboards in the backcountry, and records music.
