Ishita is a seasoned impact investment professional with 15+ years of experience spanning financial services, nonprofits, foundations, and consulting.

As a catalytic capital specialist, she spent five years at Align Impact, a 100% impact-focused RIA, where she built the firm's Catalytic Capital practice and facilitated the deployment of $80MM across asset classes and impact areas. At Align, Ishita used her platform to sharpen the role of catalytic capital for nature-based solutions, climate justice, and racial and gender equity. Earlier in her career, she focused on the intersection of impact investing and philanthropy through roles at NewSchools Venture Fund, New Classrooms, and MacArthur Foundation.

Ishita was a CASE Impact Investing Initiative Fellow at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, which cemented her commitment to transform financial systems for societal and environmental impact.
