Henderson Brown

General Counsel

Henderson is a goal-focused operations and legal strategist with a demonstrated record of providing executive leadership in the operations, legal, employment, and business operations of high growth and Fortune 100 companies, utilities, and government enterprises. Henderson served two terms as General Counsel for DC Water (1998-2003; 2016-2018) and was Interim General Manager for DC Water during 2017-2018. Prior to DC Water, he served as Associate General Counsel to Tyson Foods.

An excellent department and project leader, Henderson can evaluate and resolve problems and build and drive cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, with high quality work products that exceed expectations. He is adept at solving complex problems and is an excellent communicator with the ability to build and strengthen relationships with top management, unions, colleagues, staff, external stakeholders, governmental agencies, and community advocacy groups. Henderson is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
