Ana Koerner

Senior Associate

Ana comes to QV with a determination to recreate our nation’s health care and social care systems in pursuit of a society that prioritizes access to affordable, patient-centered, and life-affirming care. Prior to joining QV, Ana served as the Network Partnerships Manager at WellSky, where she fostered partnerships between community-based organizations (CBOs) and Medicaid Managed Care plans to better address the social needs of Medicaid members.

Recognizing the need for innovative funding models to empower nonprofit organizations in serving their communities sustainably, Ana spearheaded a funding pilot program at WellSky that increased the capacity of CBOs to engage in healthcare partnerships. Her dedication to transforming healthcare and social systems is deeply rooted in personal experiences as a patient navigating the healthcare system and as a Community Engagement Coordinator of Philadelphia’s public workforce system, where she witnessed the profound impact of quality social care on individual health, economic mobility, and community well-being.

Ana lives in her hometown of Philadelphia with her partner, Fabian, and in close proximity to friends, family, and delicious food. You can find her walking through the city with a good podcast, plotting her next escape to the Jersey shore, or falling out of yoga poses and handstands. Ana is also a locally elected committeeperson in her community, working to engage voters around upcoming elections and advocating for local initiatives that promote affordable, safe, and inclusive neighborhoods.
